Barcelona, Spain is the center of any and all tech-enthusiasts' attention as it plays host to the annual Mobile World Congress. Alongside the highly anticipated launch of the Galaxy S 5 from Samsung, Mozilla is making news today with the release of their $25 Firefox OS prototype. Mozilla showed off it's prototype device sporting the Firefox 1.3 software on Sunday at Mobile World Congress that seemingly impressed attendees who were able to get their hands on the device.
At $25, the OS may seem compelling for consumers to jump at the chance to own the device. However, Mozilla is not appearing to the every day Android or iOS user. Instead Mozilla is appealing to markets in third-world countries where smartphones are more scarcely available. What do you think of newly announced Firefox OS device?
